How Does Global Study Guide Work?

Studying abroad is HARD! That’s why we make it easy.

Global Study Guide was created by international students for international students. We are a social network, and we’re here to help you find the right school and program and help you get there! We think it’s important to show you the correct, fact-checked information, and make it simple to communicate with the people who know the schools best.

Here are some steps you can take on your journey!

Make An Account and Stay Updated

You don’t have to do much to create an account on Global Study Guide! But when you have one, it allows you to comment and talk to schools an agents. You can also attend valuable events, use Tête-a-Tête (our video call platform!) to speak with recruiters, and even apply for your favourite programs on our network.

If you are still in the process of deciding where to go, or you want to stay updated on scholarship opportunities, English testing offers, and more, follow us on Facebook and Instagram! Links at the bottom ⬇️ (hint: you can even ask us to be added to our weekly email newsletter, where we curate a list of everything you need to know)

Explore Our Programs

Click on the news feed to see the latest posts about institutions, promotions, and more. Click on Programs to see a list of every program listed on our site, and Schools to see every institution (you can choose your target country if you want). When you see something you like, feel free comment and let us know if you have any questions! Someone will help you right away.

Attend an Event

We tell you about our events on Facebook, Instagram, newsletter, and on our website itself. These events are held by schools or agencies to tell you valuable, face-to-face information. Sometimes schools even have promotions, like an application fee waiver, so stay tuned! Follow us and create an account to keep up to date.

Chat with an Agent or School Representative

Because we were international students once too, we noticed that a big problem in the application journey is having fast communication and getting the correct information. That’s why it’s really important to us to be there for you whenever you need. Schools or (vetted, honest) agents are available to chat when you need. To get started, make a post, leave a comment, or message us on social media.

Apply For a Program

Yes, you can do it ALL in the same place. When you find a program you like, you can apply on your own, or get one of our agents to help you. All programs list the admission requirements on their page, so when you apply, you can have the materials ready. The school will tell you what they need from you. It’s so fast, it’s unbelievable.

Need Anything Else?

On Global Study Guide, we often have information about English proficiency testing, living and moving to specific areas, Visa and immigration news, and anything else that will help with your journey. Type it into the search bar! If you can’t find what you need, just send us a message — we’ll be there for you.

All of these services are free; you only pay when you apply for a program, and the application fees are the same as anywhere else. But using Global Study Guide is so much more than anywhere else — it’s like having a team of agents who understand, and have all the information at their fingertips, right in your pocket. Join hundreds of other students studying abroad in creating the best experiences in the easiest way possible; create an account today!
