Overview

Brock University, a public institution founded in 1964, is uniquely located in St. Catharines, Ontario—just 20 minutes from Niagara Falls, one hour from the Greater Toronto Area, and 30 minutes from Buffalo, New York (USA). As the only Canadian university situated within a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Brock is recognized for its academic excellence, modern facilities, and diverse community of over 19,000 students representing 110 cultures worldwide. The university places strong emphasis on practical skill development, offering internships in 41 academic programs and operating one of the five largest paid Co-op programs in Canada, where students can earn CAD 19–23 per hour. Genaral Admission Requirements: 

  • Senior Secondary school credential required for university in the home country
  • Academically rigorous grade 12 year
  • Minimum B- average but may be higher for other programs
  • English Proficiency (some programs have higher requirement) 
    • (IELTS - Academic 6.5 overall, no band below 6.0
    • TOEFL - 88 overall, no band below 21
    • PTE-A 58 overall
    • Duolingo - 110 minimum score
    • CAE (A1 Advanced) - 176 minimum score
    • CPE (C2 Proficiency) - 176 ,minimum score
  • Academic secondary school transcript with these details
    • Final grades from the first term of senior year
    • An indication of the courses being studied in second term of senior year
