Mount Saint Vincent University, located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, was established in 1873 by women with the advancement of women with social responsibility and social justice at its core. MSVU is home to the longest-standing and second-largest accredited co-operative education program in Atlantic Canada, where students are given the chance to gain hands-on experience as part of their studies. The university also embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion in its community. Currently, it houses 4,000 students coming from about 70 countries.
Mount Saint Vincent University offers an innovative mix of academic programs, from a vast selection of undergraduate programs including Economics, Mathematics, Public Relations, Education, and Computer Science. Tuition and Fees
The tuition fee for international undergraduate students ranges from $19,534 to $19,951 for 10 courses. A graduate student's tuition is $13,304 for six courses.
Scholarships
Mount Saint Vincent University offers its international students a selection of scholarship opportunities that recognize their outstanding academic performance to help them as they pursue their education in the university without worrying about the cost.
International students are eligible for most funding through merit-based awards and bursaries or awards based upon their finances. However, international students are not eligible for Government Student Loan funding in Canada.
English for Academic Purposes (AEP) Program
Mount Saint Vincent University helps its international students improve their English language skills as they transition to the Canadian classroom with the English for Academic Purposes Program. Students who successfully complete the EAP program will have direct access to the university's undergraduate or graduate programs without the need for an official test score.
