The Frost Campus, located in Lindsay, Ontario, is home to one of Canada’s top environmental education institutions, Fleming College’s School of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences, which offers over 36 exclusive programs in this fast-growing sector. For over 40 years, the school has been producing highly skilled graduates who work in the environmental and natural resource industries across Canada and around the world.


As a training hub for future environmental professionals, Fleming College Frost Campus stays true to its message and commitment to sustainability. It offers a living, learning laboratory for students that include many green features such as community and pollinator gardens, arboretum, green roof, apiary, wind turbine, geothermal heating and cooling systems, and constructed wetland for waste treatment.


Programs offered in the Frost Campus fall under three major categories: 1) Environmental Programs, 2) Natural Resources Programs, and 3) Post-Graduate Programs.

  • Environmental Programs are for those interested in ecology, conservation biology, fisheries and wildlife, and environmental technology. Several programs under this category include an optional co-op where students can get hands-on experience through a work placement.   • Natural Resources Programs tackles the need to train resource professionals who will lead sustainability efforts in earth sciences, forestry, arboriculture, and more. It also houses training programs for the required heavy machinery in this field. Top programs include:Earth Resources Technician (with mandatory co-op)
  • Arboriculture (with mandatory co-op)
  • Resources Drilling Technician (optional co-op)
  • Urban Forestry
