William Academy is an elite private school in the Greater Toronto area. It is dedicated to the development of the whole person, stressing the personal self-esteem and worth of the student and the teacher. The school emphasizes strong academic performance and social responsibility. Students who attend William Academy receive instruction not merely to acquire knowledge but to attain the skills and values that will assist them in becoming contributing members of society.

Academics

William Academy provides comprehensive programs for intermediate and high school (Grades 9-12) and university preparation (Grades 12), and students can choose their courses based on their preferences and interests. The academy also offers a fully integrated ESL program for students from overseas and those who have newly immigrated to Canada.

Admission Requirements

International students are advised to apply as early as possible for them to have enough time to get a student visa form at the nearest Canadian Embassy or Canadian Consulate General in their home country.

International Students Program

William Academy offers TOEFL and IELTS training classes for international students to prepare them for higher education in post-secondary institutions of North America.

 

Admission Requirements for International Students

  • Application form signed by student and parents
  • Reports, transcripts, or school papers from their previous country for the last two years
  • Copy of passport
  • Legal custodian papers for students 18 and below
  • Immunization record
  • CDN $300 non-refundable application processing fee

Tuition Fee

Scholarships And Bursaries

William Academy offers 30 merit-based scholarships to students that achieve academic excellence and demonstrate leadership skills.


William Education Group (WEG) Scholarship Program

Toronto-based William Education Group(WEG) offers scholarship opportunities for deserving students who would like to earn their high school diploma under the Ontario Curriculum, regardless of their country of origin. 

William’s Principal Scholarships for International Student 

Thirty (30) deserving international students are granted Principal Scholarships annually. To be eligible for the grant, an applicant must be currently enrolled in Grade 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12 whose language of instruction at home country is not English. Grant amounts are as follows:

English proficiency:

  • IELTS 5.5 = C$1,000
  •  IELTS 6 = C$1,500
  • IELTS 6.5 or over= C$2,000

WEG also grants 15 Entrance Scholarships worth $2000-$10000. Interested applicants must be able to submit a completed copy of the application form and transcript for review by the Selection Committee.
