The University of St. Thomas is a Catholic university based in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Founded in 1885, the university has prospered to what it is now with more than 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students, the University of St. Thomas offers over 150 undergraduate majors and minors and over 55 graduate degree programs. According to NICHE.COM, the University of St. Thomas is ranked 12 among the best Catholic college in America. University of St. Thomas’s Catholic Studies program is the oldest and largest in the country.
Campuses
- The Epicenter is the main campus and the biggest one. All first-year and second-year students will be living on this campus.
- North Campus is located at Summit Avenue, within walking distance to see the Mississippi River.
- South Campus is home to two residence halls, the Frey Science and Engineering Center, Brady Educational Center, and other facilities.

Schools and Colleges
- College of Arts and Sciences
The University of St. Thomas in Minnesota offers 38 academic departments and interdisciplinary programs across four divisions through its College of Arts and Sciences. With a focus on academic excellence, the College is the heart of the liberal arts of the university.
- Opus College of Business
The Opus College of Business has 91 full-time faculty and 60 adjunct faculty in seven academic departments: Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Ethics and Business Law, Finance, Management, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain Management.
- School of Engineering
The School of Engineering offers undergraduate programs in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Engineering.
- School of Education
The School of Education offers preparation for Minnesota's teachers and leaders. Students enrolled in the School of Education will be exposed to real-world problems and solutions and the opportunity to develop skills across disciplines.
- School of Law
The School of Law strives to help each student develop the professional and ethical values vital to long-term success in our profession, enabling them to become lawyers who lead their communities by serving them.
- Morrison Family College of Health
The Morrison Family College of Health aims to help solve systemic health care problems and is currently comprised of the university’s existing Department of Health and Exercise Science, School of Social Work, and Graduate School of Professional Psychology.
- Dougherty Family College
This two-year college program is for inspired students who want to obtain a four-year college degree and face financial or social obstacles on the way to their goal.
- Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity
The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity is dedicated to helping students enter the community filled with hope and leave fully prepared to transform the world around them as Catholic leaders.
