Menaul School, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is a faith-based college preparatory and boarding school for students from grades 6 to 12. It has about 195 students from 20 different countries and has a 100% college acceptance rate. The school welcomes students of any race and ethnic origin and does not discriminate based on their sexual orientation or gender identity.
Menaul School started as a Presbyterian boarding school in the late 19th century for Spanish-speaking boys. Through the years, it has then transformed into a co-educational boarding and day school for students from all over the world.

International Students
About 40% of Menaul School's upper school student body is made up of international students that come from 20 different countries across the globe. The school encourages international boarding students to establish friendships with their fellow international students, as well as non-boarding students. In doing so, they can gain a lot of experience and make unforgettable memories.
International Students Application
- Complete the Online Application
- Submit teacher recommendation form
- Submit transcripts for the current year plus two previous years
- Submit English Proficiency Self-Assessment
- Provide TOEFL, Jr., TOEFL iBT, or IELTS scores
- Must attend an interview via Zoom
- Submit documentation for VISA
- Submit a copy of their passport
- Submit proof of financial resources for tuition
It is important to remember that Menaul is SEVP certified to issue F-1 visas to international students.
International Student Tuition and Fees
Boarding students must pay $42,729. This payment includes tuition, room, board, meals, transportation, activities, and health insurance. Day students have to pay $23,850 and this does not include the host family stipend. Scholarships
Students who graduate from Menaul School are automatically eligible to receive resident/local/in-state tuition prices at public universities in New Mexico. This can save students up to more than $15,000 per year. They are also eligible for other scholarships based on their academic performance. Financial aid is also offered to international students based on their needs.
