International Program
The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board offers faith-based learning in English that helps prepare students for college and university studies through enhanced, individualized programs that address each student’s cultural and learning needs.
International Program Application
Interested applicants for the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board must submit complete applications using the school's secure online application system. There is also a non-refundable application fee of 250 CAD.

- Letter of recommendation
Application Process
- Complete the online application form, upload all the required documents, and pay the application fee
- A Conditional Letter of Acceptance will be sent to successful applicants. They will have to pay the tuition fee and submit the custodianship document.
- Official Letter of Acceptance will be sent to successful applicants that can be used for applying for a study permit/Visa to Canada.
- Complete custodian declaration forms must be submitted
- Students have to report to TBCDSB with their passport, valid study permit, immunization records, and any other documents

International Program Fees
A full-year tuition fee costs 14,000 CAD for a maximum of eight courses, while a per semester tuition fee is 7,000 CAD for a maximum of four courses.
If the student fails to secure a Study Permit, there will be a full tuition refund, less the application fee. To refund, the following are required:
- Rejection letter from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
- A copy of the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board official letter of acceptance
- A written refund request by the parent along with their signature, and the name and address of the cheque recipient
