Located in Alberta, NorQuest College is a one of the country's reputable college offering diploma and certificate programs specializing in health, business, and community studies. It serves a wide variety of nationalities and has many opportunities for students to explore different programs and even transfer if needed.

 

Admissions Requirements

Applications must be received at least two months prior to the start date in order to maintain the visa and study permit in a timely manner.

  • English Language Proficiency tests include TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge, CAEL, Duolingo, and more. Scores needed depend on the program. For example, an IELTS score of 5 or higher is sufficient for academic upgrading, but Business Administration requires a 6, and the nursing program is higher.

 

Academics

NorQuest offers certificate and diploma programs, as well as academic upgrading and English proficiency courses. They offer a wide range of social disciplines such as social work and Early Childhood Education. The school also specializes in medical areas, such as practical nursing, pharmacy tech, and medical office assisting. Other programs are also in demand such as Business Administration.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition fees vary per program and are by credit. The highest cost per credit is C$1,197 for the apprenticeship preparation program, and the lowest costs per credit are ESL, bridge, and learning preparation programs (around C$170-$270). Most programs are in the C$400-500 range per credit (C$1,200-C$1,500 per course. There is also a C$1000 tuition deposit to ensure a seat in the program. Fees will be around C$700 per term, and there is an application fee of C$150.
