Tacoma Community College (TCC) offers 25+ areas of study for students to complete the 2+2 Bachelor's degree. Beyond the Associate Degree, students can also study English for Academic Purposes or pursue a certificate. TCC provides high-value education in a diverse, thriving learning environment, where students can achieve a wide range of educational and career goals. TCC provides a cost-effective way for students to start their college careers by offering various financial support and high-quality education at an affordable cost.

Campus

  • Tacoma Campus: Located on a 150-acre site in west Tacoma, Tacoma campus houses 28 buildings, including a health science center, computer center, learning resource center, art gallery, gymnasium, student center, and Early Learning Center. Tacoma campus offers credit and non-credit courses.

 

English is NOT required for admission. However, for direct placement into college-level coursework, we ask for the following scores:

  • IELTS: 6.0
  • TOEFL: 65 (iBT or iBT Special Home Edition)
  • Duolingo: 90
  • SAT: 470 Reading Score
  • ACT: 19
  • Pearson: 46
  • Cambridge A & O Level Scores: A, B or C in English 101
  • U.S. High School: Completion of two years at a U.S. high school with a 2.5 GPA in English

Tuition and Fees (2020-2021 Tuition and Costs)

Tuition costs below are based on a standard course load of 15 credits. International students must take a minimum of 12 credits per quarter. Costs noted exclude personal expenses or travel costs since they vary from person to person.
