Requirements for Admission

International students who wish to study at ONU should apply at least three months before enrollment to be able to get a non-immigrant student visa from their home country. Students must also be able to do the following:

  • Complete the University Application or Common Application
  • Submit official high school transcripts
  • Evidence of English language proficiency

For those who will get an I-20, they have to submit the following documents:

  • Affidavit(s) of Support and Bank Statement(s)
  • Letter of Sponsorship
  • Copy of passport

Cost for International Students

The estimated cost of tuition for international students varies on their chosen colleges. The price of tuition ranges from $35,480 to $41,850. 

Scholarships

International students who want to pursue a degree at ONU will be evaluated for merit-based scholarship upon admission. The scholarship awards $12,000-$18,000 per academic year. There are other scholarships and monetary awards available for those who have been accepted to the university if they have met certain criteria. 

International Scholar Transition Program

ONU also offers the ISTP, which provides international students with specialized courses that can help them succeed in American academics by getting satisfactory scores in TOEFL, IELTS, ELS, SAT, and ACT.
