Since its establishment in 1955, the New York Institute of Technology has become one of the best private institutions of higher education in metropolitan New York City and Long Island for providing an outstanding experience to its students. New York Tech also has one of the lowest out-of-pocket tuition costs among private colleges in New York State. It offers more than 90 tech-focused degree programs to nearly 8,000 students that come from 40 states and 76 different countries. It is also located in different areas including Long Island and New York, New York, Jonesboro, Arkansas, Vancouver, Canada, and China.

New York Tech has accreditations from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. It is also chartered by the Board of Regents of the State University of New York. 

Academics

New York Institute of Technology offers more than 90 degree programs in about 50 different fields of study. It offers undergraduate, graduate, certificate, and doctorate degrees. Schools and colleges include Architecture and Design, Arts and Sciences, Engineering and Computing Sciences, Health Professions, Management, and Osteopathic Medicine.   • IELTS, TOEFL, Pearson PTE, Duolingo English Test, and IB English scores
  • I-20, which is required for visa appointment

Scholarships

New York Institute of Technology offers its students academic scholarships and grants based on their academic achievements and high scholastic potential. International students are not eligible for federal or state aid, however, New York Tech offers academic scholarships that may cover partial tuition. There is also no separate application for scholarships, which will be awarded upon admission to New York Tech. 

To get the financial aid, the student must provide a notarized Affidavit of Support and a bank statement. New international students will also not be charged tuition until they arrive on campus and register for courses.
