About Camosun College

Camosun College welcomed its first students in 1971. The college is located in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia with two campuses - Lansdowne and Interurban - serving approximately 19,000 learners a year in upgrading, certificate, diploma, bachelor’s degree, post-degree, and continuing education programs.

Camosun College is the largest public college in British Columbia. Each year, Camosun welcomes over 1,200 Indigenous students from First Nations, Métis, and Inuit groups, and over 2,100 international students from more than 80 countries.

Camosun College has earned an outstanding reputation for teaching excellence, with its great lineup of faculty and staff supporting students' learning experiences. The college is large enough to provide great services and facilities for a vibrant campus environment on beautiful Vancouver Island, yet small enough to offer students the individual support, care, and attention not found in most post-secondary institutions.

International Student General Admission Requirements

• High school graduation or be 19 years old or older on the first day of class (mature student status)
• English Proficiency through one of the following:
• IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 overall (no sub-score less than 6.0)
• TOEFL iBT score of 78 overall (no sub-score less than 19)
• PTE Academic score of 54 overall (no sub-score less than 50)
• Cambridge Assessment of English C1 Advanced score of 174 (no sub-score less than 169)
• CAEL CE score of 60 overall (no sub-score less than 60)
• GTEC CBT score of 1,200 overall (minimum sub-scores of Reading 325, Writing 270, Speaking 260, Listening 335)
• Duolingo score of 105
